Description
Chaparral Leaf (Larrea tridentata)
Chaparral is a hardy, resinous shrub native to the desert regions of the American Southwest and northern Mexico, where it has been a part of Native American botanical traditions for generations. Also known as creosote bush, Larrea tridentata is recognized by its distinctive, earthy aroma — intensified after rain — and its small, waxy leaves coated in a protective resin.
At Glenbrook Farms, our chaparral leaf is sourced from the USA and is available in cut & sifted (c/s) and powder forms for use in external herbal preparations and botanical formulations.
Available in 4 oz, 8 oz, and 16 oz sizes in both Cut & Sifted and Powder.
⚠️ Important Warnings:
Chaparral is not recommended for internal use. Do not use if you have kidney or liver conditions or a history of liver disease. Keep out of reach of children. Not for use during pregnancy or nursing.
