How to Use

Hot Water Extraction (Tea/Decoction): Simmer 1–2 teaspoons of reishi powder in 8 oz of water for 15–20 minutes; strain or consume as is. Reishi’s key compounds — particularly the beta-glucans and triterpenes — are best extracted in hot water. The flavor is distinctly bitter and earthy. Dual Extraction: For full-spectrum extraction of both water-soluble polysaccharides and alcohol-soluble triterpenes, combine hot water extraction with an alcohol tincture.
