Dandelion Root – Roasted, Cut & Sifted

(Taraxacum officinale)

If you’re looking for a rich, earthy, caffeine-free alternative to coffee, roasted dandelion root is one of nature’s most satisfying answers. Taraxacum officinale root, when carefully roasted, develops a deep, robust, slightly bitter flavor profile remarkably similar to coffee — making it a beloved morning ritual for those reducing their caffeine intake without sacrificing the warmth and comfort of a hot cup.

Dandelion root has been used in European and Asian folk herbal traditions for centuries, and the roasted root has long been enjoyed as a coffee substitute across Europe. Our Roasted Dandelion Root is cut & sifted for easy brewing and is naturally caffeine-free.

Product Highlights

  • Roasted Taraxacum officinale root — cut & sifted
  • Rich, robust, earthy flavor — a satisfying caffeine-free coffee alternative
  • Naturally caffeine-free — no jitters, no crash
  • A traditional European herbal beverage botanical
  • No additives, fillers, or artificial ingredients

How to Use

Coffee Substitute: Simmer 1–2 teaspoons of roasted dandelion root in 2 cups of water for 10–15 minutes. Strain and enjoy black or with your favorite milk and sweetener — remarkably similar to a dark, earthy cup of coffee. Blended Beverages: Combine with roasted chicory root for a classic European-style coffee blend. Add cinnamon, cardamom, or vanilla for a spiced variation. Cold Brew: Steep overnight in cold water in the refrigerator for a smooth, cold dandelion root brew. Tincture: Use in alcohol-based tincture preparations.

Available in 4 oz, 8 oz, and 16 oz sizes.

Forget your coffee

Roasted dandelion root is THE best alternative to coffee I’ve found. Don’t get me wrong I still have a cup of Joe every morning, but in the evening when I get come I brew up roasted dandelion root, burdock root, ginger root, clove and 1/2 teaspoon of black tea all from Glenbrook of course and settle in with a good book.
Very warming and nourishing to your liver as well… try it… you won’t regret it.
