Description
Dandelion Leaf
(Taraxacum officinale)
The humble dandelion — dismissed by gardeners as a stubborn weed — is one of the most nutritionally rich and historically significant plants in the Western herbal tradition. Taraxacum officinale has been used as both a food and a botanical remedy across Europe, Asia, and North America for thousands of years, appearing in traditional Chinese medicine, European folk herbalism, and Native American plant traditions alike. Every part of the plant is useful: the root, the flower, and especially the leaf.
Dandelion leaf is a naturally rich source of vitamins A, C, and K, as well as B vitamins, potassium, calcium, and iron — making it one of the most nutrient-dense leafy botanicals available. Our Dandelion Leaf is grown in the USA and is available in both Cut & Sifted and Powder forms.
