Description
Cat's Claw Bark – A Rainforest Herb with Deep Roots
Deep in the Amazon rainforest, a woody vine climbs toward the canopy, its curved thorns resembling the claws of a cat. Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) has been used for centuries by indigenous peoples of Peru and South America, and today it remains one of the most sought-after botanicals in the herbal world. We carry both the cut & sifted inner bark and powder forms so you can use it the way that works best for you.
About Cat's Claw Inner Bark
The inner bark of the Cat's Claw vine is the most traditionally used part of the plant. It contains a rich profile of naturally occurring compounds including oxindole alkaloids, tannins, and antioxidants that have made it a staple in herbal traditions for generations.
