Mentha citrata is an herb that is  known as bergamot mint, but it has several other names ,eau-de-cologne mint, horsemint, lemon mint, lime mint, orange mint, pineapple mint, water mint, wild water mint.  This is not the bergamot used in Earl Grey Tea. It has a lavender scent due to the different compounds in this herb.
