African Rooibos Tea
African Rooibos tea is indigenous to the Cederberg region of Western Cape of South Africa. It is the only place that it is grown in the world. This small leguminous shrub has needle like leaves and fine stems with tiny yellow flowers. It thrives in the winter rainfall areas and sandy soil of the slopes of the Cedarberg mountain range.
Rooibos tea has many health benefits! It is caffeine free low in tannin, and very rich in antioxidants. It contains no additives, preservatives or colorants. The mineral found in Rooibos are Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Copper, Zinc, manganese Iron and fluoride. Our Rooibos is also organic.

How to make Rooibos Tea
Prepare African Rooibos tea as you would any other loose herbal tea, but there is a slight difference in preparation. The longer you steep Rooibos the more the antioxidants are released in the tea. Steep time can be anywhere from 5 -20 minutes. For added flavor add some lemon, sugar, or dried berries to you rooibos tea.
