These scones are amazing! Followed the directions as written. I added in some dried cranberries. Worked up beautifully and quickly. I used my large cookie scoop and made 10 large scones. I brushed them with a milk wash and dusted with caster sugar. Perfectly golden brown at 14 minutes. Heavenly aroma! Very little spreading on the cookie sheet. The crumb was exactly what you expect from a quality scone… and it didn’t crumble when broken in half. This is the kind of scone I expect from a bakery and I made it in my kitchen. Minimal time/minimal clean up. Next time, I’ll add lemon zest and some lemon juice. Then enjoy this scone delight with a steaming mug of Glenbrook Farms Rooibos tea that I add in some dried lemongrass. Thank you, Glenbrook Farms for offering a top notch gluten free scone mix. You’re the best!
