Glenbrook's Afternoon Scones

2 cups of flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup of sugar
3/4 cup of cream

Sift dry ingredients.
Cut in butter until crumbly. (A food processor would help here.) Add sugar and cream and blend well.
The dough will be sticky . Flour a flat work area and knead the dough for about 30 seconds.
Roll out 1/2 inch thick cut into shapes or bake in a pie pan.
Bake 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
For Presentation sprinkle dried red rose petals and dried jasmine flowers on top of the scone or dried lavender buds.
Serve with an Earl Grey or Jasmine Tea
